Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is an instant messaging focused around topics rather than people, and requires no registration. For the conference, we'll be on server: irc.freenode.net hannel: #recentchangescamp

How to use Internet Relay Chat (IRC)

If you don't already know about IRC, the easiest thing to do is to click here: http://ircatwork.com/ then make up a nickname, and enter the information for the Recent Changes Camp channel: server = irc.freenode.net and channel = #recentchangescamp

Downloadable IRC software is a little more complicated, but has more features. Some recommendations for different systems:
